After winning the Hungarian Football Championship four games before the end, Videoton FC celebrated their second national title with a team building FootGolf event in Kisoroszi. On the Hungarian Golf Club’s course one of their defenders was the best.
Four games left from the Hungarian Championship, but Videoton FC secured their first position. After winning the title on Sunday, the team from Székesfehérvár went to Kisoroszi on Monday to try FootGolf for the very first time. Roland Juhász has already played it, when the national team visited the course in Kisoroszi in 2011 and 2013. The defender told to magyarfootgolf.hu, that it was a different game as he regularly played on the football field, but it was perfect for relaxation and team building.
Nemanja Nikolics, the top goalscorer in the championship, said: “It is a great hobby, I hope I will find some spare time to visit the course again.”
Joan Carrillo, the coach of the team added: “We had a busy schedule with important matches and hard trainings. It was like a football game. Players had to concentrate and they rivalised a bit of course. It was important before the final games and the cup final with Ferencváros.”
After playing on nine holes, the best player was Paulo Vinícius, the Brazilian defender with score 35 (par -1).
