Another play-off decided the the first place in the actual stage of the European FootGolf Trophy Tour (EFTT). The Hungarian Róbert Tajtyi have beaten the Dutch Ricardo van Eijk.
After Nicolas Cousin won the Swiss stop of the EFTT last weekend, we can describe the latest stage as another thrilling ending. After the first day, Sam van Bracht (NED) was the leader, but he made mistakes on Sunday at the 6th and 7th hole, and finished 11th at the end. Collin Green (NED) had an amazing second day kicking 64, which was enough for the third place, only one beyond the leaders. Róbert Tajtyi (HUN) and Ricardo van Eijk (NED) finished with 138 kicks after 36 holes. They decided the winner by play-off, in which the Hungarian could concentrate better.
Róbert Tajtyi is the first Hungarian EFTT-winner since Béla Lengyel won the stage in Portugal at the end of last year. “The course was so hard. I tried to keep my first day’s form on Sunday too. I played balanced, and before the play-off I tried to focus on everything I ever learnt about this sport. And the result is, that I have won my first international tournament. Am I proud? Yes, of course!”

The next stage is on the last week of July in Ireland.
