![]() The Argentine Christian Otero won the FootGolf World Cup in Pilar Golf Club, next to Buenos Aires. Hundreds of people watched his final kick and the awarding ceremony. Otero won the first day of the individual competition. He was the leader after Friday also, but the Mexican Enrique Reyes caught him. The Slovakian Ján Kozák and Paul Oliver from UK was so close to them. The Americans had only one shot lead. They went in the final flight on the closing day. The game became a two-man show after the “half time”, Otero and Reyes seemed to be unstoppable. Then Otero reached the final hole with three points lead, what was enough for him to become the new world champion. The question is, will the “tradition” continue, that the home course guarantees the World Cup for the organizing nation?
