The first Major of the year was held in the United States and won by Sharif Khatib. György Podusil was the best Senior and Sophie Brown the best lady.
The Reunion Resort in Florida was the home of the first FIFG 1000-point tournament last weekend. After three long and windy days, Sharif Khatib’s (US) -6 result was the best in overall. Lionel Jacot (SUI) and Ben Clarke (UK) tied on the second place, the British won the playoff for the silver medal. György Podusil (HUN) finished fifth in Absolute and won the Senior category with a big gap (15 kicks) between him and his countryman, Róbert Tajtyi. Sophie Brown (UK) won her fifth consecutive win in a Major, meaning, the World Champion has saved her form from las year to 2019 also.
