The second stage of the US Pro-Am Tour 2015 has finished on Sunday. Within a week, Christian Otero won another international tournament.
After winning the Inter-American FootGolf Trophy in Miami a few days ago, Christian Otero (ARG) won the first edition of the Atlantic FootGolf Cup at PGA VIllage, Port St Lucie. He was in good position after the first day, but on Sunday he played minus ten (final score: 130 on par 144). After this performance, he has beaten Gyorgy Podusil (HUN, 138) by eight. The bronze medal went to Carlos Romero, another Argentine player. Christian Otero said after winning the competition, he had learnt how to play under pressure: “I believe I have the capacity to be focused in the right moment. It was a fantastic morning. Very solid, no mistakes. I couldn't dreamed so perfec. I´m very happy with such a performance competing against the best players in the world! I´m not unbeatable, but I can not imagine to play better than today, I think I have reached the maximum I can give on a golf course.” Lillie Bewley (USA) was the best among women, while Carlos Romero won the senior category.
