Gábor Gelencsér is going to be the new leader of the Federation for International FootGolf from August 1st for three years.
The current presidency of the FIFG comes to an end on July 31st. After the bidding process for the title, the 2018 World Cup organizer and president of FootGolf France, Romuald Pretot, and one of the founders of the FIFG, president of the Hungarian federation, Gábor Gelencsér, were the two candidates. All FIFG Member Countries had the chance to vote for one of them until 23.45 UTC on 10th May. The result: 1. Gábor Gelencsér (26 votes, 78.8 %) 2. Romuald Pretot (7 votes, 21.2 %) The new President, Gábor Gelencsér and the future board of directors will officially start to work on August 1st, 2019. There will be a transition period working to elect the Vice-Presidents and confirm the new board. The new presidency will last until July 31st 2022. Congratulations, Gábor!
