Nicolas Cousin (FRA) and Lionel Jacot (SUI) played equal in Villars, Switzerland at the sixth stage of the European FootGolf Trophy Tour (EFTT). The French concentrated better in the play-off.
More than one hundred players started the tournament with the Mont Blanc in the background in the actual round of the EFTT. The president, Julien Babel promised a very difficult course, and he was right. The players found themselves on an interesting, very technical one. Thanks to the weather conditions after Saturday’s game, the organizers changed two pin positions and the starting places to get better conditions for them.
After two days the French Nicolas Cousin and the Swiss Lionel Jacot had the same result. They went back to the 18th hole to decide, who is the winner. In the play-off, the Frenchman was better.
Remember the name, Cousin, he will be in Argentina also. “I have no secrets, concentration is the key. I never give up. I am satisfied, because it was my first EFTT-tournament. I am already qualified for the World Cup via France Tour, so I am excited about the next months’ challenges.”
