The Federation for International FootGolf is proud to introduce the logo of the 4th FootGolf World Cup that will take place in Japan in 2020.
Thank you to “Until Creative Agency” from Portugal for their design. The agency has given us a description of the logo’s features:
“Our Creative Concept starts from the pure immersion in Japanese culture. It’s a modern interpretation of great contrasts that characterize Japan. Simple and advanced, chaotic and peaceful, traditional and contemporary. Japanese cherry blossoms were the starting point to find simple geometric elements that during the creative process were unfolded and combined to find the end result.
Our symbol is the result of the mixture of shapes and color combinations that represent in Japanese culture the renewal, strength and persistence, virtues strongly associated with sport.
The creative process ended in a cultural explosion that resulted in this new full of live identity, that personies the culture in question.
A visual of a World Cup is always a milestone for any design agency or studio, so it
was a pleasure to work with this identity that made us go in pursuit of all the
components needed to build a brand: culture, people and internationalization.”
