Belgium had their first competition of the year. The Dutch Jaap Bak won the FIFG 100 tournament in Golf-Residentie Brunssummerheide.
In perfect weather conditions on a brand new course design, the Belgian FootGolf Association has organised their first tournament of the year, the Challenge Cup, with players coming from the Netherlands as well. For the first time, they had a team competition including four clubs.
After playing the 18 holes, Jaap Bak from the Netherlands won with a score of -5, while Michel Keuleers came in second (-3). Jeroen Coppens (-1) reached the podium after winning the playoff against three rivals. Tibo Gorndelaers won the junior category and the best team was the Oudsbergen on Saturday.
The next tournament (FIFG 50) in Belgium is the Limburgcup on April 6th.
