Eleven Argentinian finished in the best 20 on the first stage of the US Pro-Am FootGolf Tour 2015 in Miami. On the Melreese Country Club Christian Otero was unbeatable. The next round is going to hold this weekend.

This year’s Pro-Am Tour has started. The biggest cash purse-event of the world has four stages, first of these was held in Melreese Country Club, Miami. After the two-day tournament Christian Otero (ARG) was the best. After finishing the first day with score 70 (par 72), on Tuesday he had an amazing game scoring 65 and grabbing the gold medal and the 5.000 dollars.

He said after the celebration: “It was a very good morning that I had on Tuesday because I did not commit any mistakes and I was very focused from start till the end. I think concentration was the key and making right decisions about when to take risk and when not. It was not easy at all, but I think it was one of the best days, since I have been playing footgolf.”’ His eleven countrymen finished in the top 20, while Nicolas Garcia and Sebastian Pelliccioni finished 2nd and 3rd. “I am proud that Argentina is showing in every international tournament that we have many of the best players in the world. I believe I have to go step by step. Now the target is the Pro-Am of St Lucie. The World Cup is still some months away and there are many important tournaments until January.”

All the results can be find HERE.

The East Coast Series next round is going to be placed in Florida too, in Port St. Lucie on May 22-23-24.
