Ben Clarke won his second tournament in a row, he was crowned in Croatia and now Hungary too. After having three players in the first four place at the 13th stage of the European Footgolf Trophy Tour (EFTT), UK won the overall team competition in 2015.


The Hungarian Golf Club welcomed 110 players from 16 countries at the 13th stage of the EFTT. The two-day competition ended with British domination. After winning in Zagreb last weekend, Ben Clarke won the Hungarian open also.

Paul Oliver (UK) finished second after beating David Mancino (SUI) in a play-off. With this results, United Kingdom won the overall team competition in the tour, does not matter, what is going happen in Turkey.


Paul Oliver told us, he was so proud of his country finishing first in the team competition this year, and explained, what was he doing with a pencil before every kick.

David Mancino won the Hungarian open last year, now he grabbed the bronze medal. He admitted, the British players did more than great job.

​There are only two stages left in the European Footgolf Trophy Tour (EFTT). In the III. Hungarian Hörmann Footgolf Open Lionel Jacot and the British team can be crowned champions.


Close to the end of the registration 100 players have registered for the next stage of the EFTT. The 13th of the continental tour is being held in Kisoroszi, Hungary. In the Hungarian Golf Club. Lionel Jacot (SUI) can secure his first place as well as team UK, if they obtain as many points as they need to win the overall team competition.

​Nine players from the top 10 of the ranking list will compete against a host of talented Hungarian footgolfers and great players from other countries.
Gábor Gelencsér, president of the Hungarian FootGolf Federation (HFGF) admitted that he can hardly wait for the start of the  tournament. “We have created new pin positions and new holes, which are unknown for the Hungarian players too. It will be a 36-hole game, and the winner can gain 200 points in the Tour’s ranking list.”
